Mary Ann Conlon

Conlon, Mary Ann., (Nee Ebert), Age 82, November 4, 2010, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Mary Ann Conlon entered her eternal reward with our Heavenly Father surrounded by and with the love of her family and the caring staff of SSM Hospice. A widow since 2001, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter T. Conlon, Jr., by her parents, John and Delia Ebert, by her brother, Robert Ebert and her sister and brother in law, Betty Jean and Jack Szepanski. She was the loving mother of Gerard "Jerry" Conlon, Jeanne (Steve) Smith, Maureen (Steve) Garner, Donna Conlon, and Colleen (Steve) Metz. (Mary Ann always knew if she uttered the name Steve she would always get an answer immediately), dear grandma to Scott (Katie) Smith, Nicole (Greg) Papuga, Natalie (Andrew) Vorwerk, Jeffrey (Angela) Smith, Valerie (Derek) Dunlap, Shelly Metz, Erin Conlon, Kimberly (Mike) Shuster, Julie Conlon, Courtney Metz and Kelsey Garner, devoted great grandma to Blake and Kyle Vorwerk, Eric Papuga, Dehlia Mae and Sallie Rae Dunlap and soon to be born son of Scott Smith; caring sister in law, cousin, aunt, great and great-great aunt and a friend to many. Mary Ann and Pete married in 1949 and moved to Florissant, MO. where they lived together for 52 years. They were faithful, active and contributing members of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Mary Ann enjoyed playing bridge, watching and rooting for the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals, reading, playing liver pool rummy and other card and board games plus she took complete delight in her many trips over the past 20+ years with her husband, family and friends to the family time share condo in Fort Myers Beach, FL. Mary Ann will be missed very much by her family and friends. May the Lord hold her in the palm of His hand FOREVER! Services: Procession from HUTCHENS Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant, 8:45 AM, Tuesday, November 9 , to St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 1765 Charbonier Rd., for a 9:30 A.M. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation 3-8 PM, Monday, November 8 at Hutchens. In lieu of flowers the Conlon family, as requested by Mary Ann, would appreciate memorials on her behalf be made to S.S.M.
