Jennifer Mueller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jennifer J. Mueller (nee Sullivan) Jennifer J. Mueller, 59, of Florissant, MO, died early in the morning on Friday, September 12, 2014, as a result of complications from a long-time battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Jennifer’s strong, loving, and graceful spirit will be remembered by all. Jennifer was the beloved wife of Michael Mueller; loving mother of Katherine and Sarah; dearest daughter of Donald and Shirley Sullivan; dear sister of Donald Sullivan, Jr.; dear sister-in-law, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Jennifer was born in Springfield, IL, and raised in Florissant, MO. She attended McCluer High School and Southeast Missouri State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She was an inspiring elementary school teacher at Transfiguration Catholic School in Florissant, MO. Jennifer was active in many things with her community and church parish of Transfiguration and St. Angela Merici, including the Paddock Forest Community Association, Girl Scouts, Ladies Guild, Helping Hands, and much more. Jennifer trusted in the Lord and held strong to her faith throughout the many struggles that she faced during her battle with MS. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hutchens Mortuary in Florissant, MO. Visitation hours will take place on Monday, September 15th, from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, at 10:00am at St. Angela Merici parish. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the West County MS Center in Chesterfield, MO.
